Standpipes

The Shire of Yilgarn has upgraded most of its Standpipes with computerised controller systems.

The computerised controlled Standpipes can be found on:

Beaton Rd (Corner Beaton Rd and Bullfinch Rd)

Bodallin (On Kalgoorlie Road)

Bullfinch (Turn right at end of West Road)

Castor St (Turn off from Polaris Street)

Garrett Rd (Corner Garrett Rd and Great Eastern Highway)

Gatherer (Corner Southern Cross-Marvel Loch Road and Ghooli South Road)

Koolyanobbing Rd (Corner East Corinthia Rd and Koolyanobbing Road).

Marvel Loch (End of Lenneberg Street)

Moorine Rock (Opposite Post Office)

Noongar (Corner Noongar and Butcher Road)

Perilya (Opposite Perilya-Turkey Hill Road)

Asset control is important to the Shire and this upgrade will assist in raising vital revenue as well as reducing costs to the community.

Access to the Standpipes will require the use of a Standpipe Access Card at a cost of $20 each. An Application for Standpipe Access will need to be completed.

The cards can be used as either a pre-paid or post-paid system.

Water usage charges will remain in line with the current Fees and Charges imposed by the Shire of Yilgarn. Fees and Charges can be found HERE.
